Blue Vase

While quite intricate and time consuming, I have loved making these double walled pots. The inner wall allows great freedom in carving the outer layer.

During the firing of this piece, it developed a small crack in its exterior layer when the clay shrank during firing. Regardless, this piece turned out studding because of its beautiful blue glaze.
